About the Waitlist

When registering for a waitlist, you must complete the entire registration process. Your billing information will be verified, but you will not charged until you are awarded a spot. If you are awarded a spot, your card will be charged and you will receive an email confirmation. 

Registration includes event fees, the goodie bag, an event shirt, a hosted reception, entry to all included activities including general drives and tours, the Concours, the Saturday awards dinner and the Sunday morning swap meet.  Event-related merchandise items are available for pre-purchase. We plan to have special charity fundraising drives which are extra-cost events open to all. Details on these supplemental tours will be available at a later date.

Open registration ends July 1st, 2024. After July 1st, registration fees increase for both registrants and co-registrants. Your registration fees and any merchandise purchases are FULLY REFUNDABLE up until September 1st, 2024. AFTER September 1st, WE REGRET WE CANNOT ISSUE A REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES OR MERCHANDISE PURCHASES. We will publish a schedule for all registrants as soon as it is available. Look for future emails from us concerning the event in your inbox.

356 Organization Membership    The REGISTRANT needs to be a member of the Porsche 356 Registry to attend this event.  If we are unable to confirm your 356 Registry membership by July 1st, the registration will be cancelled and your money refunded. If you are not yet a 356 Registry member we encourage you to join now. Just go to porsche356registry.org and click on the "Join Us" button in the Upper Right corner of the home page.


Your Food Preferences       All events where food is served will be buffets. The following  information will help us with  planning for receptions and the Awards dinner.


Would you like to volunteer?   We can always use some help to pull this off. We offer great pay and benefits! (just kidding on the last part..)


West Coast Holiday Event Activities

As our event draws near, we will email preliminary and updated agendas to all registrants. In the meantime, these are some of the activities we can announce at this time.  Please be aware, this is a preliminary agenda and events are subject to change without notice.

Wednesday, October 16th.  For those arriving early, join us for an informal evening social event in the Santa Barbara area between 6pm and 9pm. Still in the planning stage, details will be available at a later date for registered attendees. If you think you might arrive early, please let us know. This is for planning purposes only and we are not looking for a commitment. 


Thursday, October 17th. If you plan to be in Santa Barbara before the event formally opens, we are planning an informal "early bird drive" on the morning of October 17th. Our early bird drive starts around 9am-ish from Montecito Coast Village and will give you a chance to see some of the beauty the area has to offer. Again, no commitment and more details will be available closer to the event.

On Thursday evening, we kickoff our Holiday with a Gala Reception in the Hilton outdoor courtyard overlooking the Pacific Ocean for all registrants and guests. Expect a few beautiful Porsche 356s center stage!



Friday, October 18th. We have a number of activities and drives planned for all registrants which will make for a full day. These include multiple area tour options which are still in the planning stage at this point.  Look for more details in future emails.

Included in Friday's activities are drives to very special venues which are fundraisers for "Drive for the Cure - Parkinson's Disease".  These "premium" drives will require pre-registration with payment.  They will include food and a donation to the "Drive for the Cure". The details on these unique drives and other tours are are still being worked out and will be made available to all registrants before the event. Stay tuned for a followup email communications from us in the near future!

Saturday, October 18th. The traditional highlight of any West Coast Holiday is the Concours on Saturday morning. The location we have chosen for the Concours is a spectacular site with easy access overlooking  the ocean at Santa Barbara City College. We will have room for about 250 cars on the grass, gourmet coffee and food available for purchase and plenty of room for spectator parking.

Saturday evening finds us gathered back at the Hilton Hotel for the  Awards and Recognition Dinner, "Santa Barbara" style. 

356 Concours Entry

Sunday, October 19th. We are hosting an indoor swap meet at the Hilton Hotel in their large ballroom on Sunday morning, patterned after the L.A. Toy/Literature Meeting. We have over 50 tables available for reservation. Tables are available for $50 each ($47.50 + processing fees) for registrants. Tables will be $100 each for non-registrant vendors if  they are available prior to the date of the swap meet). Reserve your swap meet table(s) using the field below- please indicate the number of tables you would like. (limit 2 tables per registration)

A reservation link to the Santa Barbara Hilton Resort will be sent to you via email as part of your confirmation information immediately upon submitting your registration for West Coast Holiday. Registration for this event is separate from your hotel reservation.

Just a "head's up": A standard waiver signed by each event participant (Registrant and Co-Registrant) will be required at registration check-in.

Our cost for the registration platform and credit card processing to incorporate the convenience of online registration and merchandise ordering for this event is about 4-5% of the fees collected (depending on the total amount). This will be an expensive event to organize, but we feel it's worth it. In order to keep the overall event fees as low as possible, we need to pass on these charges to participants at this year's West Coast Holiday. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
